Some nice waders around the coastal ponds at the moment best of all this Spotted Redshank at Cresswell today. Also present 1 Knot, 5 Greenshank, 1 juv Little ringed Plover, 1 Black tailed Godwit, 2 Common Sandpiper, 2 Whimbrel and the usual Redshank, Dunlin, Ringed Plover, Curlew, Snipe along with a bonus first summer Med Gull.
At Hauxley 2 Greenshank, 1 Green Sandpiper, 1 Common Sandpiper, 4 Dunlin and a Redshank.
Yesterday at Druridge a nice Ruff posed in front of the hide along with a sleepy Snipe.
